Award-winning Miami chef Adrianne Calvo will launch an exclusive residency at Grace Bay Resorts in Turks and Caicos this July, expanding her culinary footprint beyond South Florida to the Caribbean’s turquoise shores.
The residency marks a significant move for Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Bar, the Miami establishment that has earned recognition as one of America’s most innovative dining destinations over its nearly two-decade run. The temporary outpost will feature nightly service showcasing Calvo’s signature “Maximum Flavor” approach to contemporary New American cuisine.
“I am beyond excited to bring the Maximum Flavor Experience to Turks and Caicos and to be part of such an amazing resort,” said Chef Adrianne Calvo. “This residency is really about celebrating life… the best parts of it. I look forward to creating unforgettable dining in this stunning paradise.”
The Grace Bay location will offer a curated selection of dishes from the acclaimed Miami restaurant, which has collected numerous accolades including recognition from Thrillist as one of Miami’s eight most innovative restaurants, multiple Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence, and eight Miami New Times Best Restaurant and Best Chef awards. Zagat has also named it among the 10 most unique restaurants in America.
Adding a distinctive element to the residency, Sunday brunch service will take place aboard the Princess Grace, Grace Bay’s new luxury catamaran yacht. The floating dining experience combines Calvo’s bold culinary style with panoramic ocean views, offering guests a unique perspective on both the cuisine and the Caribbean setting.
The chef brings considerable media presence to the partnership, with over 1.2 million social media followers and an Emmy-nominated YouTube travel series, “Searching for Maximum Flavor.” Her television appearances span major networks including The Today Show, Good Morning America, and Food Network programs like Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay.
Beyond her restaurant operations, Calvo has authored best-selling cookbooks and hosts a popular, Telly award-winning podcast. She also operates the Make It Count Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in memory of her late sister Jennifer. The chef’s online presence extends to Goldbelly, where fans have access to her creations beyond her restaurant walls.
Grace Bay Resorts, known for its collection of luxury properties and branded residences on Providenciales island, selected the partnership to enhance its culinary offerings. The resort group has built its reputation on beachfront locations and high-end service standards.
For Calvo, who has spent years building her brand through television, social media, and her Miami flagship, the Caribbean expansion offers new opportunities to showcase her “big, bold, and brazen” flavor philosophy.
The summer launch timing positions the residency to capture summer tourist season in Turks and Caicos, when the destination attracts visitors seeking luxury experiences. Guests will have access to chef-led experiences alongside the regular dining service, adding an interactive element to the culinary program.
