Héli’s journey from the gospel world to international recognition showcases the power of Brazilian music to transcend borders. Growing up in Realengo in a family of theologians and musicians, she released her first gospel album “Elohim” in 1996. Her unique voice, blending elements of Bossa Nova, Soul, and Funk with Samba Jazz influences, has established her as a distinctive figure in contemporary Brazilian music.
The artist’s breakthrough came in 2005 when she captured audiences across Latin America by winning the Argentine television show Show Match, hosted by Marcelo Tinelli.
