Since opening its doors in November 2008, Jolly Esquire has taken a different approach to delivering legal services. Instead of traditional hourly billing, the Florida-based firm operates on a subscription model—offering business owners, content creators, and nonprofit founders ongoing legal support for a monthly fee.
The firm focuses on contracts, trademarks, and copyright protection to help clients navigate the legal complexities of building and protecting their businesses. The model is designed for entrepreneurs who prefer predictable, continuous access to legal guidance.
A Practice Built on Access and Education
The firm’s founder was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2007 and has since dedicated substantial energy to both practicing law and contributing to the legal community. She served as Founding President of the FAMU College of Law Alumni Alliance and received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Extraordinary Service to Florida A&M University College of Law. She also helped reestablish the Bankruptcy Clinical Externship at FAMU College of Law.
A key differentiator for the firm is its emphasis on client education. Rather than simply drafting documents and moving on, the firm breaks down legal concepts in plain language and teaches clients what to watch for as they grow their brands. The subscription model includes unlimited email and message exchanges with a dedicated attorney through a mobile application and messaging platform.
Technology-Driven Legal Support
Jolly Esquire has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries. By leveraging technology, the firm delivers legal services at accessible and predictable price points compared to traditional hourly billing models.

Over the past year, the founder has also dedicated considerable time to offering reduced-fee services to nonprofits and charitable organizations. Her commitment to community involvement began early—she completed over 1,000 hours of service before even graduating high school.
Plans for Expansion
Looking ahead, the firm plans to launch a proprietary mobile application designed to streamline how clients interact with their legal team. The goal is to increase its membership base while maintaining affordable rates, enabling more entrepreneurs to access ongoing legal support.
The broader vision is to help business owners protect their brands and plan strategically as they grow—a mission the firm has pursued for nearly sixteen years.
