It looks like celebrity chef Bobby Flay is serving up something special these days, and it’s not on a dinner plate! The 60-year-old Food Network star has found love with fellow chef and television personality Brooke Williamson, 46, after years of friendship blossomed into romance.
The culinary power couple first connected professionally when Williamson, who won Season 14 of Top Chef in 2017, appeared on several of Flay’s cooking shows. She later became one of his handpicked “titans” on Bobby’s Triple Threat, where their chemistry clearly extended beyond taste-testing dishes.
“They have been friends for a while and recently decided to jump in,” an insider revealed. “Her divorce last year probably gave them some additional shared experiences, and over the last few weeks, love bloomed.”
The relationship revelation comes after both chefs experienced major life changes. Williamson finalized her divorce in 2024 from her ex-husband Nick Roberts, with whom she shares a son named Hudson. Meanwhile, Flay’s three-year relationship with writer Christina Pérez ended in June 2024.
In a touching show of support, Flay reportedly flew out to surprise Williamson at the No Kid Hungry Dinner in Los Angeles on March 17, where she was being honored alongside actor Jeff Bridges. “It was very sweet,” a source noted about Flay’s gesture.
Fans have had mixed reactions to the new couple. While many celebrate the pairing of two culinary powerhouses, others expressed surprise at the news, with some social media users questioning the match.
For Flay, who has walked down the aisle three times previously, another marriage might not be in the recipe. During an appearance on Kristin Cavallari’s podcast “Let’s Be Honest” last October, he admitted he wasn’t sure about tying the knot again.
“If you asked me today, I’d say probably, yes, I don’t know,” he said when asked if marriage was off the table. “For me, it hasn’t been the best situation. That said, I don’t feel like I need to do it again. I have an amazing daughter who is 28 years old. I’m not having any more kids as far as I know.”
Both culinary stars are devoted parents—Flay to his daughter Sophie from his marriage to second wife Kate Connelly, and Williamson to her son Hudson.
While neither chef has publicly commented on the relationship, their professional paths have crossed numerous times over recent years. Williamson has made multiple appearances on Beat Bobby Flay and once joked about how it was “traumatizing” to watch him win.
With their shared passion for food and television, these two kitchen masters may have found the perfect recipe for love. Only time will tell if this romance will simmer or reach a full boil!
