When Regina T. Martin, M.Ed., isn’t teaching in her university classroom, she’s standing on stages across Connecticut and beyond, delivering a message that resonates with anyone facing a major life transition: you belong here.
Her company, Dare to Dream Motivational Speaking and Coaching LLC, has quietly built a following among high school students preparing for college, first-generation college students navigating unfamiliar territory, and women professionals charting their next career moves. What started as a motivational speaking and coaching platform has evolved into what Martin calls a “transformational ecosystem” focused on empowerment and education.
The momentum is undeniable. In 2025 alone, Martin released her best-selling book “You Belong Here: Transitioning to Success High School to College Edition,” delivered the commencement address at Post University, and collected awards including the Perfect Blend Legendary Women Award and the Fluxx Award for Education Expert of the Year. She’s also been a part of speaking platforms ranging from the Leadership Experience Tour to the Sister Inspiring Sisters Boss Tour.
The DREAM Method Approach
At the core of Martin’s work is her branded DREAM Method, a framework designed to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. The approach has found particular traction with high school and first-year college students, many of whom are navigating the education system without a family roadmap to follow.

Martin has delivered pre-college workshops at the University of Connecticut and served as keynote speaker for Waterbury Promise’s Pre-College Scholars Celebration. She’s presented on “Life After High School” for NXTHaven and worked directly with students confronting the practical and emotional challenges of educational transitions.
But the platform doesn’t stop at academic audiences. Martin has built a parallel track focused on women’s leadership development, including “She’s Got Goals: The Journey to Becoming Her Mind , Body and Spirit “ a program designed to help women professionals at all career stages define and pursue their aspirations.
Scaling Up
The company’s expansion plans are ambitious. Martin aims to introduce “You Belong Here” across multiple school districts and colleges, potentially developing semester-long programs and even an educator’s edition for professional development. She’s planning quarterly cohorts for the women’s empowerment programs and exploring digital coaching communities.

Infrastructure development is also on the agenda: updated branding, workshop kits, curriculum materials, and the launch of a Dare to Dream Academy for expanded digital content. Martin envisions licensing curriculum bundles and offering organizational training to corporations.
The long-term vision extends beyond Connecticut borders, with plans for national district partnerships and an international presence. For someone who teaches students and professionals to dream bigger, Martin is taking her own advice. Her personal development programs may have started local, but the trajectory is decidedly outward-bound.
