“One woman’s scars became the blueprint for healing a silenced world.”
How Victoria Cuore turned her pain into a platform that’s changing lives, one smile, one course, and one soul at a time.
There are some stories that refuse to be silenced.
Victoria Cuore’s is one of them.
She is a woman who has endured more than most people can imagine, a domestic violence survivor, a trauma warrior, a mother to a medically fragile child, an amputee, an advocate, and a builder of hope.
Victoria has survived over 100 surgeries, not due to accident or illness, but because of the unrelenting abuse she suffered during her pregnancy at the hands of her now ex-husband. That violence didn’t just leave scars. It changed the entire course of her life.
It also impacted her unborn daughter. Faith was born early due to the trauma and has endured more than 50 surgeries of her own. Both mother and daughter now live with permanent disabilities, but they also live with an unshakable purpose: to make sure no one else has to walk the road alone.
“I was broken, but not done.”
Victoria didn’t have a safety net. She didn’t have support.
What she had was grit. Love. And a deep, burning belief that there had to be something better, for others, if not for herself.
So she started building it.
She wrote workbooks, journals, and emotional survival guides for those trying to rebuild their lives. She created resources for special needs families, trauma survivors, and individuals in recovery, every one of them rooted in truth, not theory.
She poured her experiences into what would eventually become A Contagious Smile—a sanctuary, a movement, and now a full-scale online healing platform that offers something too many people are missing:
Real support. From someone who really gets it.
Introducing: A Contagious Smile Online Academy
A trauma-informed, radically compassionate educational platform, built from the ashes of pain.
With her husband, Michael, a veteran and former law enforcement officer, standing proudly beside her, and her daughter Faith inspiring every step, Victoria launched A Contagious Smile Online Academy. It’s the first online educational platform of its kind, created by survivors, for survivors.
The Academy offers free and low-cost courses for:
- Special needs families
- Survivors of domestic violence
- Veterans coping with trauma
- Teens navigating mental health
- Individuals in recovery
- And anyone carrying invisible scars, they’re still learning how to heal
Each course is designed from lived experience and infused with depth, kindness, and fierce understanding. This is not cookie-cutter content. This is what healing looks like when it’s delivered with open arms and real empathy.
Healing Is a Right, Not a Privilege
Victoria knows what it feels like to choose between therapy and groceries.
She’s been the parent praying for answers, the woman silently sobbing behind closed doors, the survivor trying to smile in a courtroom filled with judgment.
That’s why no one is turned away from the Academy, even if “low-cost” is still too much. Through scholarships and private sponsorships, the Academy finds a way to say yes, quietly, compassionately, and without asking someone to prove they’re worthy of help.
“If someone’s ready to heal, we’re ready to meet them there. Period.”
More Than Education. It’s a Lifeline.
Beyond the classroom, A Contagious Smile hosts globally ranked podcasts where real people have honest conversations about what survival really looks like.
These episodes tackle trauma, disability, parenting under pressure, PTSD, mental health, and healing from rock bottom. They don’t gloss over the pain, but they refuse to end the story there.
“We’re not trying to save the whole world,” Victoria says.
“We’re just here to make sure no one feels like they have to heal in silence.”
Victoria Cuore: The Woman Behind the Smile
Victoria’s not just the founder of this movement.
She’s the heartbeat of it.
She is the mother who never stopped fighting, the woman who rebuilt her life one breath at a time, and the leader who turns grief into grace for others.
She didn’t go to school to learn about trauma; life taught her.
She didn’t read books about rebuilding; she lived it.
She doesn’t talk about healing as if it were a theory; she talks about it as if it were oxygen.
Her credentials are carved from survival. Her lessons come from hospital rooms and courtrooms, not classrooms. And her message is clear:
“You are not broken. You are becoming.”
Help Us Say Yes to Every Brave Soul Who’s Ready to Heal
You can join the mission. Whether you’re someone in need, or someone ready to give—there’s a place for you here.
When you sponsor a scholarship, you’re not just funding a course; you’re investing in a student’s future.
You’re saying to a trauma survivor:
“I see you. I believe in you. And I want to help you rise.”
A single donation can be the moment someone decides to live instead of give up.
Because sometimes all it takes… is one person saying yes.
“We created this academy to remind people that they still matter,” Victoria says.
“Even if the world forgot them, we won’t.”
You’re Not Alone Anymore. The Door Is Open. Always.
If you’ve ever felt like no one understood…
If you’ve ever had to hide your pain behind a smile…
If you’re ready to stop surviving and start healing…
This is your moment.
Welcome to A Contagious Smile Online Academy, where healing begins, hope is free, and no one is ever turned away.

The Scholarship Promise: Healing Is for Everyone
Victoria knows what it’s like to have nothing left—not financially, emotionally, or physically—and still need help.
That’s why A Contagious Smile Online Academy proudly offers scholarships for anyone ready to begin healing but unable to afford even a reduced-cost course. These scholarships are discreet, stigma-free, and filled with the same love that built the academy itself.
“If you’re ready to heal, you don’t need a credit card. You need a place to land. That’s what this is,” Victoria says.
And for those who want to help but don’t know how, sponsoring a scholarship is one of the most personal, powerful ways to make a real difference. A single scholarship can change the direction of someone’s entire life.
Whether you give in honor of someone, anonymously, or just because you care, you’re giving someone more than access. You’re giving them a future.
