Nicola Salter remembers being six years old, watching Queen Elizabeth II walk down the red carpet at Westminster Abbey for the Knights of the Garter ceremony. The Queen was the only woman in a room full of male dignitaries, yet her presence commanded the space. That early lesson in female power would shape the next several decades of Salter’s life.
Twenty-eight years after leaving London for Los Angeles, Salter has built a practice serving more than 18,000 women worldwide through her approach to women’s empowerment coaching. Her clients include thought leaders, executives, therapists, and creatives—all seeking what she calls “Queen energy” without the performance anxiety that often comes with traditional success models.
The numbers suggest she’s addressing something real. At The Missing Peace Center for Anxiety, 70% of her clients reported reduced anxiety, overwhelm, and stress. When she co-founded holistic wellness initiatives at Crusades 22, a nonprofit serving Navy Seal veterans, the program achieved a 60% reduction in PTSD symptoms.
A Different Approach to High Performance
Salter’s background combines British naturopathic training with neuroscience, energy medicine, and what she describes as ancient wisdom. She studied under a leading naturopathic doctor in the UK and spent years working in male-dominated business environments, including stints with the BBC and political figures like Margaret Thatcher.
Her latest book, “Finding Your Queen: A Woman’s Guide to Living Raw, Flawed & Brilliant,” challenges the perfection trap many successful women face. The book blends memoir with science-backed self-care and practical coaching tools. Each chapter includes personal narratives, journal reflections, and what Salter calls “Spill-the-Tea” takeaways—designed for women ready to align success with their actual values rather than external expectations.

Through her reDEFINE YOUrself Coaching platform, Salter has developed leadership development programs that corporations now use to address employee burnout and retention. She designed a six-hour RESET program for anxiety, overwhelm, and stress that serves both individuals and organizations. During the pandemic, she maintained anxiety and stress management services for two years, supporting senior management and the general public navigating isolation and burnout.
Building Community Over Competition
Between 2022 and 2024, Salter supported over 150 female entrepreneurs through 12-week programs focused on identifying limiting beliefs and creating new business directions. She’s also led a 12-month empowerment program for more than 100 women and designed mindset empowerment initiatives for corporate lunch-and-learn sessions.
Her podcast “Your Unique Brilliance” was recently voted one of the 20 Best British Female Podcasts. She’s appeared at venues including Maria Shriver’s platforms, Pepperdine University, and the Los Angeles Times Health Festival.
For Salter, the work isn’t about starting over. “Redefining yourself isn’t about starting over, it’s about realigning with your values,” she explains. Her approach emphasizes reconnecting with core values and community rather than chasing conventional markers of achievement. As she continues expanding her business transformation services for women leaders, the focus remains on what she witnessed at age six: real presence doesn’t require perfection.
