Logan Stanzione is building more than projects, he’s building an integrated creative studio designed to normalize disability inclusion and awareness through humor, storytelling, and scale. He’s developing a romantic comedy called False Start, that tackles disability representation head on. In an industry where authentic inclusion is often discussed but rarely executed at scale, Logan’s goal is actively working to shift the narrative, both on screen and behind the scenes, and it’s starting to gain traction.
False Start centers on a flawed protagonist whose deception forces an emotional reckoning that leads to empathy and advocacy. Rather than leaning into inspiration or tragedy, the film treats disability with complexity and humor. The goal isn’t just laughs, but to spark conversation about representation, perception, and responsibility in modern storytelling.
Industry Support and Advocacy Endorsements
The project has attracted notable backing from both the disability community and entertainment industry veterans. NFL linebacker and Emmy Winner Shaquem Griffin, actress Lauren Potter from the TV Show Glee, digital creator and motivational speaker Molly Burke, and Debra Ruh, CEO of Billion Strong, have all provided video endorsements supporting the film’s mission. They all see genuine potential in what Stanzione is attempting.
On the production side, Todd Stevens, an Emmy Winning producer from Friends, is attached to the project. Mike Clattenburg, known for directing Trailer Park Boys on Netflix, has expressed strong interest to Direct contingent on funding. BondIt Media Capital has expressed financing interest contingent upon securing distribution, a significant milestone for an independent production with this kind of social intention baked into its DNA. The remaining piece is finalizing distribution and community support to bring the project fully to life.
Expanding Into Music and Building a Slate
Beyond film, Stanzione is simultaneously expanding into music with his comedy EDM album, Out Of Pocket, drawing tonal inspiration from Bo Burnham, Lonely Island, and Adam Sandler. The project is intentionally bold and funny, taking satirical aim at modern society.

Within the first week, Tom Segura’s podcast “Your Mom’s House,” which has 2.2 million followers, called one track “f*cking great.” DJLoversClub, an EDM account with 1.7 million Instagram followers, endorsed another song on their platform.
Stanzione views music and film as complementary storytelling vehicles rather than scattered side projects. It’s a multi-platform strategy designed for longevity, targeting all movie makers and music listeners who value both entertainment and intention.
Beyond False Start, Stanzione has five additional completed feature scripts ready for development. The plan is to leverage the first film’s success to sell the broader slate to distribution partners, positioning himself as a studio builder rather than a one project creator.
Independent films that push boundaries rely on collective belief, advocates, partners, and supporters who recognize that culture shifts when audiences show up. With conditional financing in place, industry talent attached, and endorsements from respected voices in disability advocacy, Stanzione is close to production, and he’s positioning himself at the intersection of entertainment and impact.
