As Season 27 of The Voice approaches its final weeks, the competition has narrowed dramatically with each coach selecting their top two contestants to advance to the live shows. Host Carson Daly will guide viewers through the upcoming performances as Teams Kelsea, Bublé, Legend, and Adam prepare their remaining artists for the crucial live rounds.
The journey that began with blind auditions, where each coach selected 12 hopefuls, has progressed through Battles, Knockouts, and Playoffs, leaving just eight singers standing. However, in a surprising twist, each coach will have the opportunity to bring back one eliminated contestant, potentially giving four additional artists another chance at victory.
On Team Kelsea, country star Kelsea Ballerini has advanced 21-year-old Alanna Lynise from Toledo, Ohio to the lives. Lynise has consistently impressed throughout the competition with performances of Julia Michaels’ “Issues,” Miley Cyrus’s “Angels Like You,” Lady Gaga’s “I’ll Never Love Again,” and most recently SZA’s “Nobody Gets Me” during the Playoffs.
Joining Lynise from Team Kelsea is 19-year-old Iris Herrera from Newaygo, Michigan. Herrera’s journey has included memorable covers of “You Are My Sunshine,” Lizzy McAlpine’s “Ceilings,” “Jolene” by Ray LaMontagne, and Chris Stapleton’s “White Horse.”
Michael Bublé’s team moves forward with 23-year-old Jadyn Cree from Lincoln, Nebraska, whose vocal prowess has been showcased through performances of Paramore’s “Still Into You,” Loggins & Messina’s “Danny’s Song,” Avril Lavigne’s “Keep Holding On,” and Nena’s “99 Red Balloons.”
The second finalist from Team Bublé is 34-year-old Adam David from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. David’s competition highlights include covers of Peter Frampton’s “Baby I Love Your Way,” Bublé’s own “Home,” and Allen Stone’s “Unaware.”
John Legend has selected 33-year-old Philadelphia native Renzo, who has impressed with renditions of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man,” Bob Marley’s “Is This Love?”, Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” and Hozier’s “Too Sweet.”
The second Team Legend finalist is 21-year-old Bryson Battle from Harrisburg, North Carolina. Battle’s vocal journey has featured Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You,” Muni Long’s “Made for Me,” Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way,” and Ariana Grande’s “POV.”
Adam Levine’s team will be represented by 22-year-old Lucia Flores Wiseman from Maple Valley, Washington. Wiseman’s performances have included Ángela Aguilar’s “La Llorona,” Rodgers and Hart’s “My Funny Valentine,” Benson Boone’s “Slow It Down,” and The Beatles’ “In My Life.”
Rounding out the finalists is Kolby Cordell, a 33-year-old from Ontario, California on Team Adam. Originally a member of Team Legend, Cordell was stolen by Levine after the Knockouts. His performances have included Luther Vandross’s “Never Too Much,” Sebastian Yatra & John Legend’s “Tacones Rojos,” Stevie Wonder’s “Lately,” and Bruno Mars’ “Finesse.”
Each coach must now choose one additional contestant from their eliminated artists. Ballerini will select from Jaelen Johnston, Darius J, or Tinika Wyatt. Bublé’s options include Kaiya Hamilton, Barry Jean Fontenot, and Angie Rey. Legend must decide between Olivia Kuper Harris, Ari Camille, and BD.ii. Levine’s choices are Conor James, Britton Moore, and Ethan Eckenroad.
Viewers can tune in on Monday, May 12 to discover which four eliminated contestants will receive a second chance at musical glory as the competition enters its final stretch.
